    Under Water Lights

If you have added underwater lights to the transom of an 04 282 Sailfish, I'd be interested in photos showing where you put them, even better, some measurements.

    Bang Cap vs. Bracket

I replaced my Bang Cap with 1/16" Stainless while I had the motors off. The brackets did mash down against the old aluminum Bang Cap,and there was some corrosion but not really bad. I dry fitted the brackets before caulking, and the gap is noticable. I haven't cranked the bolts hard yet, just...

    'Ducer wire thru transom.

Dunno if this is how y'all do it, but I looked at another wire going through the transom and didn't trust its seal integrity. For a new install, I hated drilling that huge hole to feed the transducer connector through. So, I slit a piece of fuel hose, waxed it, put it on the 'ducer wire, then...

    1997 GW 248 What?

##Edited## Some eagle eyes can read the decal, it appears to be a 248? I can blow it up enough to read it... My Father-inLaw really liked my Grady, and right before he passed he bought a 97 265, or that is what his text to me said. I haven't made it down to FL to survey the boat yet, and I...
