Looking at a 4000lbs Shore Station lift 108" for a 1997 22-8 with a hardtop. Does this sound right??? If not what are u guys with the same boat using?

Installing a kicker on my 22-8. I have my aux bracket and wondering if anyone has some advise on the install as far as best placement. I have the panther 35 bracket. I do have the specs and have narrowed down a spot but have yet to drill the holes.

Ok, I tried mineral spirts vinager windex (no kidding) glass cook top cleaner mothers polish simple green All with no luck. I did let the products sit on the window for sometime. Any help? PS. Yes, I did clean the inside of the window before this post. JK.ing

Dropped a screwdriver on the center cap of the steering wheel and broke it. I need a new one. It's the standard spoke steering wheel. This seems like it would be a common part but not in my part of the woods. Any know where I could find one? Thanks

While on the main tank my rpms are 5500, when i switch to the aux tank the rmps will drop to 51-5200. Single micron filter whch has been changed. I have the deck off, is there a filter or cleanout of some sort in the tanks? Any help would be appreciated.

When I pull the boat out of the water it seams to have a lot of water coming out of plug (approx 2-3 gallons). The bilge pumps work but even after being in the water a few days they won't kick on. I can't figure it out if it's excess water from the pumps? It's a 1997 and not sure if it's...

I'm flush mounting my electronics and have taken the 1/8" glass material out. Does anyone know the exact name for this glass? I want to use a thicker black (like the OEM) for a backing plate or maybe a white materail used like I've seen in other posts. Thanks, T.R.

Bought a new (used boat) 228 and it has the full swim platform. I want to install a kicker 9.9 yamaha 4s but the platform is in the way. Do I take off buy new and sell this or have it fabricated? Any suggestions or anyone have experience with having a platform cut?
